In response to requests by local hospitals, first responders, and schools, CMSE (a sheltered workshop) has partnered with the University of Missouri and the STEM Alliance to design, produce, and distribute high-quality reusable face shields.
A Community Effort
Our local school district, Columba Public Schools, has already purchased 1500 of these masks and the feedback we have received to date has been very positive. These masks are also being used by many nursing homes all over the state of Missouri. Just last week, we were awarded a grant from the Missouri Department of Economic Development to help us increase the production of these masks. This grant will allow us to offer these masks at incredibly reduced prices.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide high-quality, reusable, easy-care face shields at a very affordable price. Our face shields are significantly less expensive than comparable face shields currently available. We can do this because of the non-profit structure of our organization, our focus on providing meaningful work for disabled individuals, and the amazing support provided by our community.
